# Hisarçandır to Çitdibi: the rerouted forest stage

Stage 28 · Route 28 (rerouted July 2020) — Updated: 2026-09-07 — https://ghostofkas.com/lycian-way/hisarcandir-to-citdibi/

A short and pleasant day, and a recent one: the Culture Routes Society took this route off the forest road in July 2020 and put it on a proper path through pine and cedar via Üçsöğüt. Measured at 8 km from Hisarçandır to Çitdibi, four to five hours with the optional climb to the TaştanAtıcı peak.

Old guidebooks and old GPX files still show the road. Use the 2022 edition or the OpenStreetMap route.

- The peak option for the view over the plain
- Çitdibi, a village that still expects walkers

## The alternative finish

From Üçsöğüt Yaylası an alternative last route, re-marked in September 2020, runs via Gedeller to Sarısu on the Antalya coast and ends by the sea. It is an option for walkers who want to finish at the water rather than in the hills at Geyikbayırı.

### Why does my map show a different route here?

The stage was rerouted in July 2020. Maps and GPX files older than that still show the forest road.
